Summer vacation goals

Let's HEAT UP the Runway this summer!

     As we all know, summer is one of our top-most awaited vacations. Students, like me, look forward to this wonderful time of the year, cause we are talking about melting ice cream on our mouth's desire and relaxing on that easy breezy coconut air that we all have been waiting for.
     Here in the Philippines, when the month of March strikes, Oh, you know it's summer, with a 29 ° weather temperature. This means we need to bring mini fans, hankies, and refreshing and soothing water. AHHH... 

     In my situation, school wouldn't last until the mid of May, because of the change of schedule in the academic calendar, Uhhh ... I know right. Anyways, thank God for Holy week, for we got a chance to at least enjoy summer! Speaking of enjoying summer, I literally did enjoy my Holy week vacation alright. Vacation goals have been fulfilled very well. 

Fashion has always been a part of me; it's my major thing. I am a fan of  sophisticated yet simple styles. I'm not a fan of trendy, cliché style; but when I saw Kylie Jenner wearing this long kimono cardigan with a black romper shorts and boots, I totally fell in love with it.

  So, I checked in my closet and boom clash the beat of my heart, I saw the right pieces that could heat my short summer vacation this April.

First let's start from the long cardigan. This was actually a dress with wrapped ribbons. I removed the ribbons and turned it into a long cardigan. 

This dress/cardigan was designed by the famous designer Jojie LLoren (The Project Runway Philippines mentor) and was given by my auntie. I have no evidence of the price now; sorry for that. 

What I love about this is the richness of the pattern and color of the dress. The texture of it is smooth on your skin, which I believe the textile that was used is spandex.

Next we go to the trendy black-laced romper shorts, which I have bought from H&M for P899.00. Though, I believe it's not available in stores anymore, I saw some alternatives with the exact same price of this laced romper short. 

The textile used is light cotton. I love the flow of this romper, because it's light and free on your body and is great for humid weather, if you prefer wearing black on summer.

Boots. To finish off the look, wear your favorite black boots. Here, I have my boots from H&M. I bought it for P1699.00. These boots are still available in stores, so go grab yours now, literally NOW.

Quality wise, it sure wouldn't fail you. I like these boots, because even though you are wearing them, they wouldn't hurt your feet. Its chunky heels will help eliminate the pain of your feet. It's very comfy and wearable, and in no time, it will boost your Girl confidence.
