JESUS LLOREN: I am a Creative Person.

JESUS LLOREN: MUSINGS WITH THE MUSES

Unexpected words from the professional fashion designer, Sir Jojie Lloren himself (visit his website:jojie lloren), who is currently a mentor at The Project Runway Philippines Season 4. Project Runway Philippines, owner of Jill by Jojie Lloren at Rustan's.

Ms. Cheetah Rivera (The Project Runway Philippines Season 3, 1st runner up & SDA mentor) invited me and my co-students at Style and Design Academy Manila to Sir Jojie Lloren's exhibit. Sir Jojie discussed his 39 overall designs, which are inspired by several famous Filipino paintings by , Fernando Mamorsolo, Botong Francisco, Galo Ocampo, Felix Hidalgo, and many more.

All designs are self-interpreted by Sir Jojie Lloren, based on the paintings he chose. Most fabrics that he used are Pinia, Silk Linen, Chiffon, Leather.

Here are my top favorites of Sir Jojie's design. I felt like this inspired me more on my style in fashion, From the color itself (red, black and white) to the sophisticated craftsmanship of the fashion designer.

Sir Jojie Lloren has a high taste of sophisticated fashion and loves accentuated colors. All 39 designs were a great challenge that took him 7 months to finally fulfill all of them.

As a fashionista, it is important to listen and admire the works of the Greats, because it gives access to new profound knowledge on what kind of designer we choose to be. It inspires and helps us focus on what we love and who we are going to be in the future. And as we head to that future, we must build up our brand, the way others would look at us. This is Jojie Lloren's brand.

Sir Jojie Lloren disclaimed to be an artist. Well, look how magnificent his works are. For me, he is a creative person, at the same time, an artist that must be named the Great.
